Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Inaugurates Leadership Training for Over 2,000 Senior Leaders of the Ruling Party
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has inaugurated a significant training program for senior leaders of Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party (PP). As the party’s president, Abiy highlighted the importance of the training in addressing national challenges and strengthening leadership capacity to build on the party’s achievements.
The training, themed “Power of Dream for Progressive Development,” brings together over 2,000 senior leaders from Ethiopia’s regional states, city administrations, and federal institutions. It aims to foster consensus on strategic priorities and provide leaders with tools to enhance governance, leadership skills, and decision-making in the months ahead.
Scheduled to run until September 25, 2024, the program underscores the Prosperity Party’s commitment to development through collaboration with the Ethiopian people. It also emphasizes reinforcing the party’s role in navigating national challenges while maintaining its progressive agenda.
By focusing on capacity building, the training seeks to empower leaders to play a more dynamic role in Ethiopia’s social, economic, and political progress, ensuring the party’s vision remains aligned with the country’s long-term aspirations.
