According to the Presidency, the high-level briefing reviewed the country’s overall situation, with discussions centering on security, governance, social development, and foreign policy. The President underscored his administration’s commitment to peace, transparency, and unity among the state’s key institutions.

He described the visits as pivotal in strengthening Somaliland’s standing in the Horn of Africa and deepening its ties with key economic and security partners.

The Speakers of the two Houses and the Chief Justice commended the President’s consultative and inclusive leadership style, noting that regular dialogue between state branches fosters trust, cohesion, and effective governance.

In closing, President Irro reaffirmed that Somaliland “continues to move forward in peace, stability, and democratic governance — guided by unity, accountability, and shared national purpose.”

In summary, the meeting signaled Somaliland’s continued emphasis on institutional collaboration and its growing regional engagement following Irro’s diplomatic missions to Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa.
